Krka Waterfalls Nat'l Park, Croatia

 The stunning Krka Waterfalls National Park is a great mother nature’s phenomenon.

Krka National Park lies about 10 km inland from the city of Šibenik, founded over 1000 years ago in this part of Dalmatia. 

Named after the Krka River, the Park covers an area of just over 142 square km and includes two thirds of the river itself.

Admire the beautiful waterfalls and lakes and stroll along pathways winding through the lush flora.

Or take a refreshing swim in front of the stunning Skradinski Buk waterfalls, the top attraction of the Park. 

Visit the Krka Monastery built above the Roman catacombs as well as the enchanting Visovac Island which is home to a 15th century Franciscan Monastery
