Day-By-Day Program: 

Day 1     Sat          Arrive Zagreb 
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure. Dinner is on us tonight (WD)

Day 2     Sun          In Zagreb 
A morning sightseeing tour will take you through the historic Upper Town. See St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is yours to explore the winding streets of the old town at your own pace or perhaps take an optional excursion into the countryside (B)

Day 3     Mon          Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes 

Head south for a visit to the magnificent Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with its 16 terraced lakes surrounded by forested mountains and lush vegetation. A walking tour takes you around several of the lower lakes (B,D)

Day 4     Tue          to Trogir and Split  
Morning guided walking tour of Split takes in the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, it’s Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral.

Enjoy the 1740-foot-long golden pebble beach, said to be the best in Croatia. It is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Afterwards head to Hvar, Croatia's most luxurious island and the sunniest place in the country. It is also a meeting point for the international jetset.

The 'Croatian Madeira' is also one of the longest islands stretching along the shores of Croatia. Spend evening and night at Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in Europe, a popular alternative thanks to its quieter, more discerning charms (B,L)

Day 5     Wed          in Split   
Quick sail towards town of Hvar for a sightseeing tour featuring the first public theatre in Europe (older than Shakespeare’s theatre in the UK), the Franciscan Monastery and many more historical sights. Cruise towards Island of Vis. The town Vis, the antique Issa, was founded around 397 B.C. Our tour of Vis features the town’s waterfront. Evening at leisure (B,L)

Day 6     Thu          to Dubrovnik 
After breakfast we finally travel to Dubrovnik, with its picturesque setting on the stunning Adriatic coast. A walking tour of the Old Dubrovnik includes the Rector's Palace,  Bell Tower Clock, Orlando's Column and Sponza Palace. Next, see the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. Balance of the day is free for independent activities. Do some shopping or stroll along water's edge, or delight in superbly scenic surroundings around you (B,L)

Day 7     Fri          in Dubrovnik   
Take a walking tour through its narrow, cobbled streets and visit the majestic Gothic Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark (B,D)

Day 08     Sat        Depart Dubrovnik 
Disembark after breakfast. You will be transferred to Dubrovnik airport for your flight home (B)
