Itinerary Overview:
Day 1 TUE Arrive in St. Petersburg. Private car transfer to central Radisson Sonya Hotel **** or similar for a 4 nights’ stay
Day 2 WED Get a good Intro to the many remarkable sites of St. Petersburg with a City Highlights tour. Continue sightseeing with a visit inside the historic Peter-&-Paul Fortress, city’s birthplace
Day 3 THU Today tour the spectacular Hermitage Museum, a world class museum and Russia’s best art gallery of world art.
Tour Highlights include State Rooms of the Winter Palace, Old Masters of Western European Art and the French Impressionists.
In size and scope, the Hermitage rivals the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Louvre. The Hermitage boasts over 2.7 million exhibits and displays a diverse range of art and artifacts from all over the world throughout history.
The Hermitage collection includes works by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael and Titian, a unique collection of Rembrandt and Rubens, many French Impressionist works by Renoir, Cezanne, Manet, Monet and Picasso, numerous canvasses by Van Gogh, Matisse, Gauguin and sculptures by Rodin. Day 4 FRI Today your guide will take out of the city to Pushkin (also known as Tsarskoye Selo) to visit the exquisite Catherine’s Palace with its famous Amber Room
Day 5 SAT Depart St. Petersburg See You Again!
