Day-by-Day Program:

DAY 1          Wed     Arrive in Stockholm

Arrive in Stockholm, a capital of Sweden, known as the beauty on the water. Transfer on your own to the Scandic Grand Central Hotel **** or similar, check-in for a 2 nights’ stay

DAY 2          Thu     In Stockholm

After breakfast take a walking tour of the Old Town of Stockholm with the Royal Palace, Stockholm Cathedral and the city centre with its famous City Hall. Afternoon is free for independent activities. In late afternoon you are transferred to the harbor to board an overnight ferry bound for Tallinn. Dinner on board the ferry

DAY 3          Fri     Stockholm - Tallinn

Arrive in Tallinn, capital of Estonia. You are transferred to Radisson Blu Olympia Hotel **** (or similar), check-in for a 2 nights’ stay

DAY 4          Sat     Tallinn
Tallinn is famous for its medieval Old Town. During summer it is a busy place with many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafes and restaurants. The Old Town is UNESCO-listed and is the best preserved medieval town center in this part of Europe.
The sightseeing tour takes you around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we view Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the medieval Old Town Hall.
In the afternoon an optional excursion to Kadriorg Park with a visit inside the Kadriorg Palace and its art collection

DAY 5          Sun     Tallinn - Helsinki
Today you are invited to join an optional tour to Lahemaa National Park where you visit Palmse manor, a memorial to the Von Pahlen family, and Sagadi Manor. The tour ends with a visit to the charming 16th century Vihula Manor and the Vodka museum. After lunch break return to Tallinn to take a ferry to Helsinki and enjoy a refreshing tour through the Finnish Archipelago before arriving in Helsinki. Upon arrival you are transferred to the Glo Art Hotel ****, or similar. Check-in for a 2 nights’ stay

DAY 6          Mon     In Helsinki

Helsinki, often called ‘the Daughter of the Baltic’, is truly located at the crossroads of Western and Eastern culture. It is reflected everywhere in this green and lively Finnish capital.
A sightseeing tour takes you around the harbors, up the central Mannerheim Street, by the Parliament
Building, the Finlandia Hall, the Sibelius Monument and for a visit of the famous Church-in-the-Rock.

Helsinki occupies a peninsula, surrounded by an archipelago of islands. This makes the city especially attractive. Make sure that you stop at city’s central Market square. It sits right by the passenger harbor in the old part of town. It is an amazingly lively forum for selling fish fresh off the boats, as well as other fresh garden produce and seasonal berries

Day 7          Tue     Helsinki - St. Petersburg

Today the tour continues eastward to St. Petersburg. Shortly after crossing the border into Russia we arrive in Vyborg, where we take a short sightseeing tour and visit the Vyborg Castle. Late afternoon we arrive in St. Petersburg, check-in at the Sokos Vasilievskaya Hotel **** or similar

Day 8          Wed     In St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg is a world-class destination featuring imperial palaces and museums that enjoy worldwide fame.

The Neva River, the many canals and bridges have deservedly given the city the title The Venice of the North.

Your city sightseeing tour will introduce you to the views of the most noteworthy landmarks of the city: Peter & Paul Fortress, city’s oldest structure; the majestic Winter Palace, the impressive St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the Church on the Spilled Blood, the Bronze Horseman Statue, Rostrum Columns, the fashionable Nevsky Prospect & much more

You will also be offered an opportunity to join an optional tour of the world famous Hermitage Museum

Day 9          Thu     In St. Petersburg

A full day for independent activities or take advantage of an optional tour outside of St. Petersburg to Peterhof, the Summer palace of Peter the Great on the Gulf of Finland, also known as the Capital of Fountains for its impressive Grand Cascade and an alley of fountains leading into the Gulf of Finland

Day 10          Fri     Depart St. Petersburg

After breakfast, transfer to airport on your own
