A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $400 per person and full payment of insurance (if purchased) is payable at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Payment of the deposit indicates you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions

Cruise reservations require a deposit of $500 per person. Special programs like the Trans-Siberian Charter Train program require a deposit of $900 p.p. Any possible exceptions from existing terms will be specified at the time of booking and shown on the invoice. Payment of the deposit means you have read and accepted these terms & conditions

Final Payment

Final payment is due and must be received by Intours Corporation no later than 90 days prior to departure (applies to escorted tours & cruises). If a reservation is made in less than 45 days prior to departure, a late booking fee of $ 75 may be assessed to facilitate Rush processing. Payment details will be specified on the invoice for each file booked, including individual travel


We highly recommend that all passengers purchase travel insurance at the time of booking. Intours Corporation does not accept responsibility for health problems, unforeseen circumstances, missed or delayed flights, damaged or lost luggage

Cancellation Penalties & Changes

All cancellation penalties will be specified at the time of booking and will be shown on the invoice. All cancellations made by phone must be followed up in writing. After final payment, a $30 service fee might be levied for each change on each file provided documents have not been issued. Once documents have been issued a $50 service fee will apply in addition to any charges applied by ground operators overseas

Items Not Included in Tour Price

Applicable airport taxes and surcharges, visa & registration fees, items of personal nature, gratuities, insurance, excess luggage charges, other items not listed in tour inclusions

Tour Prices

Tour prices in this brochure are quoted in Canadian dollars, per person, and are based on rates (including foreign exchange rates) known at the time of printing. Brochure prices are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations, government action or amendments to itineraries and train timetables beyond the control of Intours Corp. Prices are subject to increase without notice if such rates change prior to departure. The current price will be confirmed at the time of reservation. Airfares included as part of all-inclusive tour prices are guaranteed when we receive the full payment. If for any reason we must increase the price of the tour by more than 7%, we will offer you the option of cancellation without charge, provided you advise us in writing within 7 days of your receipt of notice of increase. In case of billing errors, Intours Corp reserves the right to re-invoice with correct pricing


Chauffeured car transfers are provided  for a tourist(-s) by our airport and rail Meet& Greet services once booked and confirmed by Intours corporation in writing (see: exchange voucher) prior to leaving Canada. The general rule is that transfers are provided for passengers  arriving and departing on flights purchased through Intours Canada. In other cases transfers are offered at an additional cost. In the brochure transfers may be featured as included as part of a promotional campaign or a Special Offer limited in time. Waiting time at airports is 1 hour. At rail stations: 40 minutes. There is a 50% surcharge for night shift hours (11 pm - 6 am). Transfers are arranged based on flight/train arrival & departure info provided by a travel agent / customer at the time of booking. Intours Corporation is not responsible for any errors in arrival & departure information. Intours Corporation provides a vehicle (car, van or coach depending on a party size) for passengers arriving / departing at the time specified in the booking. Intours Corporation is not responsible for monitoring the schedule and flight status


The Ontario Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations requires tour operators to caution passengers traveling abroad that there may be different living standards and conditions with respect to the provision of accommodation, service and utilities outside of Canada. Please note that hotel ratings in this brochure refer to local classifications. They may differ from North American standards


You will require a valid passport and visa for some destinations. It is solely your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the necessary documentation to comply with the laws and regulations of the country (-ies) to be visited. The correct documentation required for both your journey to the destination and return to Canada. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your travel arrangements without refund. Some countries require that the valid passport be valid at least six (6) months beyond the conclusion of your trip. Intours Corp. may assist you in obtaining the required entry tourist visa

Air Transportation

Intours Corporation has made arrangements with some airlines for transatlantic and domestic transportation. The airfare is based on tariffs in effect on February 1, 2011. The participating carriers are responsible for air travel in accordance with the terms and conditions of the individual passage contract which is subject to applicable laws, treaties and regulations governing air transportation. The participating carrier may not be held responsible for any act or omission or event during the time you are not aboard the carrier. The passage contract used by these carriers when issued constitutes the sole contract between you and the carrier. In purchasing the passage contract, you acknowledge and accept the foregoing conditions. When you fly to and from your destination, the conditions of carriage apply some of which limit or exclude liability


We strongly recommend you consult the air carrier as size and weight limitations vary from airline to airline - and sometimes with the destination -, and becoming more restrictive. Domestic baggage allowance within Russia is 20 kg

Tour Operator's Responsibility

Intours Corporation makes arrangements with reputable suppliers who provide travel services. We only act as an agent in the arrangement of travel services. We cannot exercise control over the personnel, equipment, operations or goods of the suppliers. The travel services provided are subject to  specific terms and conditions of these organizations and limited by their own rates and agreements or by customs or practices of their business. Intours Corporation will not assume liability for claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from:

  • the acts or omission of any party(-ies) other than Intours Corporation or its employees
  • failure by passengers to have proper and valid documentation.
  • Aircraft delays, Government actions, act(s) of God or any factor beyond our direct control
  • Cancellation or delay to any tour or change of itinerary. In case of tour cancellation, our liability is limited to the refund of all monies paid by you and received by us
  • We reserve the right to decline any passenger as a member of these tours at any time.

Intours Corporation is not responsible for printing or typographical errors, or errors arising from unforeseen circumstances

Itinerary Change

Intours reserves the right to amend any tour itinerary due to force majeure, change in local conditions, or any other reason that Intours may determine. Although every effort will be made to keep itineraries and hotels as they are shown in the brochure, our suppliers reserve the right to substitute itineraries, hotels due to conditions beyond their control. If a change occurs, every effort will be made to ensure that the locations visited, the  excursions taken and the hotels offered are similar to the ones originally planned. Any change to itineraries will not result in eligibility for a refund


Rooms with private facilities in First or Tourist class hotels - unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to substitute hotels for a similar category should this become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. Hotel reservations under 3 nights are subject to a booking fee. Terms and conditions for hotel reservations will be specified on the invoice for each file. Hotel rooms are not guaranteed before 2 pm check-in time. Check-out time is 12 noon


Accommodation on Trains

Advance reservations for trains are strongly recommended. Reservations for Trans-Siberian itineraries should be made no later than 45 days prior to departure. 1st class train service is defined as accommodation for 2 persons traveling together in one compartment. 2nd class train service is defined as accommodation for 4 persons traveling in one compartment. Train reservations are totally non-refundable and require passport information at the time of booking

Credit Cards

Your authorization to use your credit card number for deposit and/or final payment indicates your compliance with our booking terms and conditions, whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate draft. Verbal authorization of your credit card confirms your reservation. Your authorization of the use of your credit card to your travel agent binds you to the terms and conditions of the contract whether or not you have actually signed the draft. Verbal authorization of your credit card allows Intours to process your reservation at a quoted price. A letter of confirmation signed by the credit card holder must be kept on file by the travel agency authorizing the use of the credit  card without a signature. In the event that a cardholder refuses to honor a charge, the travel agency may be held responsible. A client paying for the trip with the credit card of a third party must provide written confirmation of the cardholder's consent

Refunds & Claims

There is no refund for unused transportation or land portion including voluntary modifications made by the tour participant, or if portions of tour are missed. In the event that certain services are cancelled, the tour operator will have no responsibility beyond the refund of all monies received by the tour operator, which will be deemed to constitute full settlement. Changes to flight itineraries, name & date changes may result in penalties charged by the airline or ground supplier concerned and passed to the passenger. The passenger agrees that any claims against Intours Corporation shall be made by the tour participant in writing and received by Intours no later than 25 days after the event causing the claim


Please be aware that during your trip certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control including but not limited to, travel by train, automobile, aircraft or other means of transportation, the forces of nature, political unrest etc. We shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever, to you resulting from events beyond our or a  supplier's reasonable control including, but not limited to, acts of God, strikes, lockouts, weather conditions, floods or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities


During local or national holidays, certain facilities such as museums and restaurants, sightseeing tours and/or shopping may be limited or not available. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible

Special Requests

Special requests, for example room locations, bed preferences etc cannot be guaranteed by Intours. While Intours will  attempt to accommodate such special requests, Intours cannot be held responsible if such special requests cannot be fulfilled. Requests made by the travel agent on behalf of the purchaser/travelers for particular room location, bed types, and other services other than those published in our brochure are never to be considered guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges, and are at the discretion of the hotelier or service contractor
