Scandinavia, or otherwise called Nordic Europe, is a European region north of the Baltic Sea.
It is the largest region in Europe (almost 1.2 mln sq km, or 463,000 sq miles) but home to only around 24 million people, accounting for just 4% of the population.

Denmark
The smallest, flattest and most continental of the Scandinavian countries. Famous for having the best beaches of Northern Europe, a unique viking heritage, royal palaces as Scandinavia's coolest capital, Copenhagen.
Norway
Famous for deep fjords, steep mountains, and wooden churches. Has a rich and interesting culture with deep roots in farming and fishing. Perhaps the most rural and traditional of these countries
Sweden
Scandinavia's largest country by area and population with tens of thousands of island around its coastline. The Swedish Archipelago being the second-largest archipelago in the Baltic Sea
Finland
Finland is the most remote and perhaps the most conservative of the Nordic countries.
Finland is not technically part of Scandinavia, with Finnish language unlike the Scandinavian languages.
Finland is widely known for its pristine nature, with hundreds of thousands of islands and lakes to explore.
It is the easiest bridge to the East. Finland's capital is Helsinki.
Helsinki is roughly 80 km north of Tallinn, Estonia; 400 km north of Stockholm, Sweden; and 300 km west of St. Petersburg, Russia.
Finland is one of the world's wealthiest nations with one of the highest quality of life, with an extensive welfare system. It has the best educational system in Europe.
Also it has recently been ranked as one of the most peaceful countries in the world.
